It does not has to be complicated to be good ! Here is a very simple recipe to discover the sweet mix between foie gras and fig... A recipe signed Marina d'Angelo for Comtesse du Barry.
1 country bread
4 tbsp of figs chutney Comtesse du Barry
4 fresh figs
Few salad leaves
White truffle vinegar
Cut the country bread into slices then brown them under the oven grill on both sides
Spread a little bit of figs chutney on the slices of bread, sprinkle with the mixed salad
Spread a few slices of finely cut figs and foie gras on the top of it
Season with a pinch of salt flower, a pinch of cracked pepper and a drizzle of white truffle vinegar.
Enjoy it !
